Meeting of the rector's office of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University with the representatives of recruiting companies

On the 7th of February, 2017 there was a meeting of the rector's office of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University with the representatives of recruiting companies.

During the meeting there were reviewed the special features of the 2017 entering campaign for international students. Rector of the University prof. M. Rozhko raised the issue about improvement of educational-technical base for international students – aiming at providing of high and efficient level of study process. Special attention was focused on satisfactory living conditions in the students' dorms, created for comfortable dwelling of international students. Modern dormitories are equipped with necessary furniture, there are separate water-closets corresponding to all sanitation-hygienic requirements, renovation works had been done in all rooms, and video-surveillance had been installed – with the purpose to provide protection and order at the dorms' territory. The University rector's office stressed on making optimization of study costs, and also on all-round support to the international students in all spheres of their student life. The representatives of recruitment companies noted that Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University deemed authority and respect in various countries of the world and, in particular, in India.

The IFNMU international relations department (S. Kobets and V. Osadets) emphasized that it is necessary to optimize the process of selecting the foreign citizens as candidates for studying at the IFNMU. Joint efforts of the IFNMU international relations department's staff led to elaboration of the new branding and international marketing strategy, - in line with modern realities in the recruitment sphere. This strategy provisions development of various marketing activities – for rising the authority and prestige of the education institution, with obligatory taking into consideration the needs of the international entrees, as well as the needs of the education institution itself. Making advancement in this direction, draft advertising and information booklets and video-clips have already been created.
